I like old time Westerns a lot. but the Cisco kid and the lone ranger were explicitly made for children and are painfully juvenile. I wish Andrew would get rid of them. In contrast, Gunsmoke was and “adult” western and the best of the genre by far. so, this podcast is a mixed bag with respect to content. As for commentary, Andrew stumbles over words when he reads and sounds uncomfortable. And he speaks so quickly it’s a wonder he can breathe. He should either not talk at all or seriously work on his presentation skills. this is modeled on Adam Graham’s podcasts but is missing Adam’s folksy style.

A real gem that transports you back 50 years to the state of mind when radio was king. Thanks for going to all the trouble to do this.

Dennis from Detroit has a well actually for me…

Yeah Andrew, My name is Dennis i’m calling from Detroit area, Michigan, and I just thought I’d make a comment I was just listening to the Lone Ranger Podcast with the comment that it was connected with the shadow that’s incorrect. It’s the green Hornet that was the nephew of the Lone Ranger both of those broadcast course came out of the WXYZ here in Detroit and as to with the Sergent Preston.
